My experience is dated, but I think about the 2 cycle engines firing by,
butt ugly cars, and the odd folks who owned them.
They were irrationally loyal - a good match for Pentax camera loyalists.

Yes, veeery dated... Those... ahem... specimens you think about are from the days when SAABs were built of surplus parts from WWII military aircraft production. Nowadays SAAB is a regular, midrange car, and has been for decades.


I rented a SAAB last weekend for a 250 mile roundtrip in Western Sweden and it was very amazing with lots and lots of electronic features to make the driving experience smooth. First time I drive one, actually, even though I live in the country where thery're from.
