Hi Paul, GM does has a higher quality rating than Benz at the moment, they (GM) have come a long way in the last five years. Being a consumer (I consumed one in April, very tough to get down ;)) I`ve got to say I`m very pleased with our Chevy TrailBlazer 4X4. I had my reservations about Chevy, being a Ford guy all my life, but I got such a good deal on it I couldn`t turn it down. Now we`re a Ford and Chevrolet family.
