I'm interested in using RAW mode not because I have JPEG compression bothersome, but because RAW gives me additional flexibility. With RAW I have the full 12 bits per pixel (instead of 8) so I can fix exposure (to a small degree) and white balance with less problems in a RAW file than a JPEG file. alex
