>Cheers, Cotty A lot of California roads are not in great shape, because of lack of money. It's a state by state thing in the US, generally (although there are some federal matching funds). Makes me think of the "good old days" when they built highways right and left -- the car ruled the world -- and everything was smooth and newly paved. Of course, that also makes me think of when I used to go out for a spin just for fun (tons less traffic). Marnie aka Doe But I'm showing my age.
