Picture this. Pentax ships to Adorama and B&H. Both organizations are run by members of the orthodox Jewish Hassidic sect. Yom Kippur ends; the next holiday arrives and the cameras are trapped in a closed business that received them between holidays. Boxes pile up in the warehouse and they close from 11th to 19th. They reopen on the 20th. It will take them days to get up to speed and ship. If you receive your *ist D this week you are top priority. I know I'm #1 on the list; I ordered on Feb. 20, 2003.
