That is an beautiful picture... What lens were you using? I assume a fast
300mm or ???-300 zoom. I am saving the pennys for one in that vein, got any
suggestions Pentax or otherwise?

: Well, I probably shoot more motorsports than most folks on this group.
: I use a PZ-1p, usually in autofocus mode - it seems to work quite well.
: The big drawback for the PZ-1p, when compared to the 5n, is the single
: AF sensor. But if you want to use a ZX-5n in central-sensor mode you're
: basically limiting yourself to PZ-1p functionality on a body with a less
: powerful AF motor (or so say those who have used both cameras).
:
: I'll be picking up an MZ-S as soon as they become available; occasionally
: that single central sensor means you would autofocus on the wrong car.
: But most of the time central AF works quite well. From the mention of
: prototypes vs. factory cars I presume you're talking sports cars - here's
: a shot I took last year when the ALMS came to Laguna Seca:

:
: That's two cars in one corner, and the PZ-1p autofocus was up to it.
