i use some 1800mAh NiMH batteries i have from some things i did a while ago and i have a set of 2000mAh ones too. the CR-V3 batteries are in the bag for just in case. if i have to break them out, it is because i am on an extended trip away from any power to charge my batteries with. just wandering around Staples, a local office supply chain, i see that the Duracell CR-V3's are going for $20USD a pair. i believe in rechargeables for environmental reasons.
