It's a good site, but you have to keep in mind the way R/C (car) folks use batteries. I say this as an (ex) electric R/C person. The charge and discharge rates, for example, are very high. In a 1:10 scale 4 minute race, the batteries are discharged at rates up to 30A or so. They are typically charged at 5A or more. If you ask a battery engineer, I suspect their view would be that the R/C car folks abuse their batteries. Not being a battery engineer, I don't know how the usage profile affects the life cycle profile of the cells. TTYL, DougF KG4LMZ
