Leaves an interesting question doesn't it? It is probably a Rolls-Royce built Allison turbine, or an Allision built Rolls-Royce turbine. They have been building each others designs since WWII. I have heard that GM sold their Allison Division to somebody, but then I have heard that RR has been sold to Ford. It is hard to figure out who makes what and who owns what in this age of sell-offs, buy-offs, and mergers. Oh yes, I have also heard tht RR sold off its aircraft engine manufacturing opperation to someone (maybe Allison?).

How is that for a non-answer?

Does Rolls-Royce own Allison now or vice-versa?
And the writer does not seem to know that jet fuel is kerosene.
I´m not yet ready to change my Guzzi.
All the best!
