Hi Paul, Did you work at AOC design dept. at that time? If so, OK, your info will solve the problem. If not, why your common way of speaking at that time should be the answer to the question? Asahi literature published in 1975 always speaks of K-series cameras and K-bayonet (just checked my literature collection). Ciao, Dario Bonazza
