Nikon has had flashes out for the D series since the beginning,and i still see 
complaints
on the 
D1 BB about TTL flash not up to snuff,so it looks like a universal digital clitch.
FWIW they on the nikon BB  tell me that AA mode is best for digital flash.
I'll find out this weekend.Finally found a used sb28dx at Vistek Cameras.I need 
something
other than 
the 285hv,so i can just shoot the really fast horses now,and not have to take meter
readings 
everytime.Hope it works.
