I have both. The A* 85/1.4 is truly awesome, however, it can scare small children and make dogs bark, especially if it's hood is attached. I wouldn't point it toward troops in Baghdad. Without a side view, they'll think it's an anti tank weapon and may dispatch you. The K85 f/1.8 is also a great lens. It's a lot easier to be unobtrusive with it.
