you mean Pentax's software. the most recent two Nikon digital cameras i have owned mark their images at 300dpi for printing. i just don't understand why Pentax chose to default to screen resolution when there isn't more than a small percentage of people with a digital camera laying out images for printing in a DPT application that pays attention to the embedded DPI. virtually everyone has to remark their image files to something else.
