Of course you'd be welcome to visit! The only deadline is when all 165 seats in the auditorium are filled, and the last I heard there were somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-60 already registered. The mountain is still open to those who are not NPW participants. What you would miss would be the presentations by the featured speakers, film and processing for the contest, and the buffet dinner on Saturday evening. Also, the normal admission to the mountain is $12.00 per person per day, which is included in the registration fee of $65.00. It's my understanding that if you pre-register, and later find out you can't make it, your registration fee will be refunded.
