I bought a five pack of out of date Fujichrome MS100/1000 today to use
as test film for a MF panaromic I'm building (No Pentax parts so far).
It's an E6 film normally rated at 100, with a first dev. time of 6
minutes.
1 stop push is 8 min, 2 stop = 11 min, 3 stop = 14 min and if rated at
1000 Fuji recommend 15 minutes in the first developer.

I have no idea how this affects grain or the colours, and don't really
care as I intend to use it at 100 EI, it was merely the cheapest
available film in the out-of-date box.

Personally, I don't think slide film really pushed either, but I take a
very
literal view on the process.
I have quantfied at various times what happens to film speed vs.
development
time with negative film. It takes a huge increase in development to
impart a
very small change in film speed.
