To *ist D owners / broadband internet subscribers, I still have a dial-up connection and won't be changing soon. AFAIK many other list-members also still dial-up. How about downsizing an image before web-publishing it. If you need to show something at full-rez, you could always just put up a crop of the relevant part of the image.
No-one should publish anything on the web before reading this page: <http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/> One piece of advice I remember from an early visit to "webpagesthatsuck" is that no page should take longer to load than you can hold your breath. I died of suffocation many times over waiting for Arnie's *istD image to load. Lucky for me it's a season of miracles :) regards, Anthony Farr ----- Original Message ----- From: "arnie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > happy new year, guys > > so bought an ear syringe and puffed away at the sensor and managed to get > most of the spots off, so i figure a little more huffing and puffing will > blow the rest away. > > there is another issue i am having. when i take picture with a bright object > in it, the object appears again rotated 180 degrees. for example > www.xdstech.com/istd/imgp0382.jpg . this is the full size image just as it > came off the camera. you can see the best buy sign and all the lights a > second time. > > anyone know what could cause that? what should i do about it? > > thanks > > arnie > > >
