Mine was of a gaggle of people originally from New England chowing down to a
lobsterfest in Dallas. We were members of the New England Society of Texas
(NEST) and my wife was covering NEST's first annual lobsterfest for the late
and much lamented Dallas Times Herald. She decided that the article needed
pictures and since I had won some photo contest (and was handy) she asked me
to take them. The paper must have like the combination as they doubled the
size of the story.

And thus was begun a "career" of taking pictures of people feeding their
faces and multifaceted aspects of the food they consume.
