After coming home from a miserable showing at a
weekend long Scrabble tournament,
(yeah, yeah, I had fun anyway:) ) ... I got an
email from documentary film maker
Eric Chaikin that 5 of my stills of Scrabble
champs will be used in his film, WORD WARS
(I knew this was happening a couple of weeks ago
but didnt know how many.) So,
here I am at last with my name up on the screen in
the credits. The best part is,
this is a film that is one of 16 documentaries
selected out of 500 entries to appear
at the Sundance festival in January! I got a
small amount of money out of this,
but have to admit would have given Eric the prints
for one time use regardless.

Pretty exciting (as my heart goes pitterpat that
Robert Redford might read my name in
the credits;) )

Eric is mailing me back the photos so I don't know
which ones he selected yet, which
gives me a tiny bit of anxiety.

Anyone going to Park City in January? :)
