Hi Jasmine, Welcome to the list. Frank was right, take lots of pictures and look at lots of pictures. After you get a feel for the camera controls you might want to keep a note book and take notes on how you took each image (F-stop setting on the lens, Shutter speed setting, lighting conditions, etc.). Take your time and enjoy yourself. When you get the pictures back compare the results with your notes and see what worked and what didn't. You'll probably learn more if you don't wait very long between taking and developing the pictures. Hope you find this helpful and good luck.
