Yep. It's definitely the fault of the lens. It's what happens when you try and put Pentax lenses on "off brand" cameras. It just doesn't work.
I got exactly the same effect when I tried using a 50mm Super Takumar on a Canon 10D. Talk about a honking big nose - well, see for yourself!
