Of course I don't 'know' what will happen - but wouldn't this be a big, big
surprise, given that they have stopped developing their full frame DSLR in
favour of the *ist D and have started developing and selling lenses with a
smaller image circle?
To me this looks like a complete change of direction rather than an interim
solution.
A full frame DSLR would just not fit into this picture - and there is no reason
to believe that APS sized sensors cannot be developed further to achieve higher
resolutions.
Wouldn't Pentax be 'perfectly' lined up with a 10MP upgraded *ist D'n' plus a
cheaper 'budget' version plus two or three DA wide angle lenses?
