Vern nice Ann. You caught that magic look where light snow clings to trees. It doesn't last long. Perhaps it was still snowing a bit as well? That would account for the frosty, foggy background. I also like the way the light comes through the trees only in the center of the shot.

This is a link to the first photo I sold out of an
exhibit....  The
shot was taken in Washington Square park in the
winter of 1967-1968.
I sold it in 1978 from an exhibit in a little
neighborhood bar called Broadway
Charlie's.  Possibly a couple of Scrabble photos
sold earlier that year
but I can't remember for sure.  This is really the
one I think of as my first
profit.

I made the scan from a print made by Modernage
back before I knew how to print.
