And I think that's the evolution.
First we guessed.
Then we used that little chart that came packed with every roll of Kodak film.
Then we used a meter.
Then we used a meter built into the camera.
Then we used a meter built into the camera that actually controlled the
shutter, aperture or both.
Then we got really fancy built in meters
The we got histograms
Now we want flashing highlights.
And on it continues...
Every step along the way we made it a little faster or simpler, but at the
same time we made it more difficult in a different way.
Not complaining, just observing.
