Plus it's the same 3.34 mp foveon chip that's in the SD-9. Since it doesn't use the Bayer pattern interpolation they have gone on to call it a 10 mp chip (3.34x3) Plus the lens mount issue plus the very high (@X) magnification factor over 35mm. Check out DP review for more info.
I was wondering about that.
I know a guy who has a Leaf Volare' camera back and considers it to be an 18 megapixel camera, since it takes three 6 megapixel shots using red, green, & blue filters. The color accuracy is indeed exceptional (though you can't shoot anything that is not stationary) but the resolution is only 6 megapixels.
