Thanks Alex. Too much wine last night. Did I rant? Of course you'd need a K mount mount (there an echo in here?), as you suggest. A great source is an old set of extension tubes. In fact they would be ideal as they come in varying lengths and would be the right shape. Does there exist extension tubes in Leica 39 screw?
