I'm really lucky Tom. My neighbour across the lane has a small shed and
in it you would find just about every screw, nut, bolt, and tool known to
man. He has a lathe and can turn objects in metal and wood like you
wouldn't believe. He's retired and enjoys making his own fly-fishing
lures amongst other things. He's not quite up to producing precision lens
parts - I used a specialist company for my EOSK 50mm - but it's lovely to
see him at work. I can imagine that you would be a like mind.

If I can get him to knock together a matter-energy transfer device, we
could beam you over for the weekend ;-)
