Hi friends, THANK YOU for all the tips! PDML is a goldmine :)
It would be quite harder to find and tryout the software by googling. Boris, thank you a lot for your offer! I will consider it, certainly. The PPWizard scripter looks interesting as well. Don, John, thank you for the links! I will try out the software you mentioned. Steve, danilo, Chris - you should read better my message ;-) Both Gallery and Coppermine looked very nice. And they actually work pretty nice on the sites I viewed. Unfortunately, as you noted, it will take a lot of time and coding to make it suit my needs. Otherwise, it's a good piece of software. I found the Gallery installation impossible to do both on my hope PHP/SQL server and at my webhost, and the Coppermine required some rewriting of the code, but it works (see http://fotof.wz.cz/coppermine for an example page with few my "best" photographs). But being a half-student, half-freelance photographer, I don't have the time :( Not mentioning I don't know PHP much, and I would like better to learn other things than computers <g> But thank you even so for your replies! BTW, there is a webpage which lets you try most of PHP-based opensource Content Management Systems, incl. Coppermine and Gallery! it's at http://www.opensourcecms.com ,and is very useful for anybody wanting to try out several CMSes without having to install each and everyone on his system. Mark, I had a look at your software page, and it's quite helpful! Thank you all! Frantisek
