Too bad you will only be capturing less than half of the image/resolution of the lens with the istD's aps sensor.
This brings up the question, wouldnt a full frame 6Mp camera yield better results than a 6Mp APS camera assuming top quality lenses for two reasons: 1. More image details to record. 2.
