It is an excellent idea if you are doing a longish exposure, and
the light changes during the exposure. The camera's ability to
compensate for changes in lighting during exposure is one of the
things that drew me to the LX in the first place.
BTW, it only shows this behaviour on automatic. If you choose a
discreet speed, it has a very accurately timed shutter.
