I think it would be more effective to split the list into sublists. Off the top of my head I would recommend these 6 lists (perhaps with shorter names): pentax-screwmount - discussion of M42 screwmount lenses and cameras pentax-kmount-film - discussion of K-mount film cameras and lenses pentax-kmount-digital - discussion of K-mount digital cameras and lenses pentax-general-photography - discussion of general photographic topics and critiques of photographs pentax-medium-format - 645 and 67 camera discussion pentax-off-topic - all of the other stuff that has nothing to do with photography that often consumes 50% or more of the list traffic. There is a little overlap on k-mount lenses (they can go under the film or digital section), but I think that is appropriate. People with digital Pentax SLRs often have different requirements for lenses than those with film SLRs due to the crop factor and some of the issues that only come up with digital. Plus there are digital only lenses now like the DA 16-45/4. There might be room for a 7th list to talk about P&S cameras, but that isn't a very popular topic on here. You don't want to fragement lists too much because the less used ones tend to die anyway. Given that a different split might make more sense: pentax-35mm - All 35mm film Pentax cameras pentax-digital - All pentax digital cameras pentax-medium-format - All Pentax medium format cameras pentax-off-topic pentax-photography I would love to see such a split. Currently I find it impossible to keep up with this list because there is so much off topic banter. If the lists were split this way I'd join pentax-digital and pentax-photography. alex
