Congrats on your purchase Bill - glad to see that you're making use of FireWire - incidentally, AFAIK an Apple invention (d'oh! sorry) - The Lexar FireWire CF card reader is a real nice piece of hardware: <http://www.digitalfilm.com/dynamic-frameset_cr.html?http:// www.lexarmedia.com/readers/firewire.html> 2 things it does well that i think are very important: the card slots in very securely, so no chance of misaligning it and ending up with bent this and that. Also, it has a nice push-button to release it off the pins ready to withdraw from the reader. Mine was about 50. Finally, some FireWire card reader info here: <http://www.dpreview.com/articles/mediacompare/> HTH Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| www.macads.co.uk/snaps _____________________________ Free UK Mac Ads www.macads.co.uk
