Sounds suspiciously close to the price someone mentioned Adorama as having, that they would not honor. Got a little ahead of themselves with the advertising do you suppose?
They advertised at 1325, said it was supposed to be 1725 and offered me a "special price" of 1625... Hopefully, I denied the "special treatment"...
Dpreview estimates a 1630 street price.
