;-)) I don't think I'd go that far in saying that it's like industrial music (if my understanding of the term is correct), but it sure requires (imo) a different sensibility and approach. I've used several DSLR cameras, and none gave me the comfortable feeling that I get from the Leica, MX, Spotties, and the LX. Sometimes the technology gets in the way, sometimes technology is leading the way ... to more mediocre photographs.
I don't think there will be a demise of film in your lifetime, Bob, nor in mine.
