Me being imprecise again.... You need only a "dead" (no connections) connector that will mount on the HSG and allow you to mount the flash on it. The HSG and flash will then be insulated from each other. The connection from the flash to the camera will be by the 5P cable. They never break but to find them secondhand is very much a trial of luck - they are almost never listed properly in Jessop's secondhand catalogue, for instance. They do, however appear in bargain basement bins - I got a 4P cable on Thursday for �1. Wouldn't expect to pay any more for the bracketry. mike
