It depends on what your criteria are for success, I guess. If all you want is a fairly good outline of the car, then no - it isn't all that hard. But if you want the result sharp enough to read *all* the lettering on the side of the car (not just the large print) then it's a great deal harder! (A good trick in a situation like this is to use flash - second-curtain sync would be my choice - to freeze the car at the end of the exposure. That will give you sharp detail without needing to get the pan spot-on).
