At first, when turning the camera on, it would slowly (auto) focus once, but then pointing it to a second focus point, it simply would not autofocus. Nothing happened pressing the shutter halfways. Nada. Around the same time there were a few other strange things happening. I remember when Stan visited in September it suddenly rewound a film after only a handful of frames. I seem to recall thinking that it may have appeared after both shooting in the rain, as well as after doing a few sessions on the beach, where I noticed some grains of sand on the lenses and inside the camera body. If any of this was the actual cause I don't know. It works manually though, and everything else seems to work. A bit annoying though as manual focussing in some situations is slow and difficult where AF has allowed me to quickly capture some shots that now escape me. > > What does it take to get two flashes off either camera and to what functionality? > > Have a look at the bottom of Boj's page: > > http://kmp.bdimitrov.de/technology/offCameraFlash.html Thanks for the link. I have missed a lot of his updates. Lasse
