So how did you manage to fit a Leica M lens and what was the range of focal distances?
Through a Pentax T2 focusing mount adaptor and a PK mount adaptor. The adaptor maker made it for me to get the M lens on my R body.
To get it on the Pentax the adaptor-maker said just put on the PK mount adaptor instead of the Leica mount adaptor. So I did that. And it worked.
The range of focus is about 5ft to infinity. That's for an Elma 90/4. For another 90 M lens - 90/2.8, he made a small ring to be inserted between the focusing mount and the lens body, so that I can get infinity.
An added bonus is of course all these lenses (Imagon, Leica M 90/4 + 90/2.8) now can be used on my Pentax *ist!
