Because I wanted to support Foveon's new technology. I think the Foveon sensor are a better design, if only because there is no interpolation involved, and the fact that all modern films use the multi-layer principle.
I don't want to start an argument thread about Bayer vs. Foveon sensors. Peace! :-)
