Chris asked: "P.S.Tan,are you seriously trying to get the rest of us to
believe life is anything but quiet in Northern Banana Benders Land?(Northern
Queensland for the unititiated)."

QUIET?!?! In a house with 4 and 5 yo boys, and a 15 month old terror toddler
of a girl who has to make ALOT of noise just to be heard over her brothers?

It is never quiet in our household - I am the QUEEN of multitasking - at any
given time, I can be working in PS, chatting on MSN, talking on the phone,
whilst sorting out the kids arguing, organising their lunches, with a load
of washing in the washing machine, a loaf of bread in the breadmaker, and a
client at the door!

My hubby and I have the same argument every night - after the kids are in
bed, I like to sit up in front of the tv, by myself (aaaah, blissful
quiet!), reading National Geographic or Australian Camera Enthusiast (or
scouring through the latest KEH.com catalogue!), whilst baking the kids
bread for the following morning, eating chocolate, talking to my friend in
London on the phone, watching SVU or the Practice, and getting up to read my
email during the ads! My hubby will come out from the shower and walk
straight pass me, turning off the television on his way to bed... His
argument? "You were reading and talking on the phone, you can't do that and
watch tv at once". Which always leads to me responding with "No, YOU can't
do more than one thing at a time - me, I can do MANY things at once"...
Even at the height of my "quiet time", I am always busy. I thrive on it, and
dread the day (if ever) that I am forced to become idle.

BTW, as much as I would LOVE it to be true, I am NOT in North QLD. I am in
Central, hot, dry, western QLD, no where near a beach or ocean (unless you
count the cattle troughs...), and closer to Brisbane than I am to Cairns! I
am located about 3 hours west of Mackay...

phew, now after all that off topic chit-chat, I am going to see if there is
any chocolate hiding in the back of my pantry...
