Nice tests thanks. Drawback to using the istD is it wont reveal the differences if any in the corners of the images when using film or a full frame sensor. But that can wait for the istD-II I guess.
Id like to see the same tests but with the 120mm F2.8 SMCT or 120mm 2.8 SMCK vs the VL 125mm F2.5! Would be a more fair test with closer focal lengths and speeds..... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- J.C. Rob those results make the Pentax-A 135mm look like a piece of CRAP!!! Hi Tan, It's all in your perspective. It just proves that the V is superb but the P is infinitely better at f1.8 too :-) Cheers, Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.ozemail.com.au/~distudio/publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998
