i have seen several larger than 16x20's printed from a Canon 1Ds and they
are definitely acceptable, although they are not quite the same as a film
original. high resolution detail isn't rendered the same, but to see the
difference easily, you have to have your nose to the print. from a normal
viewing distance, the digital original will usually look better.
