I am not using PS, I don't own it. I am using Picture Window Pro.

I do adjust both the radius and threshold to get the best I can. From
what I have heard, Focus Fixer or Sharpen Pro or one of those tools is
the best approach.

My remarks were mostly to comment on how suprisingly aggresive I can
be to the digital captured image in regards to sharpening and sizing
up compared to the film scans.

If you would be so kind to point me towards some of those sharpening
methods so that I can see how best to go about them in Picture Window
Pro, I would be most grateful.

Certainly, one of the most surprising things to learn about digital is
just how much there is to learn about manipulation.
