The Minolta Maxxum 7 isn't all that big of a camera actually. I assume the M7D is about the same size as it's based on the M7. But at least the film version was quite a bit heavier and larger then the *istD is. Bigger and heavier is better as far as I'm concerned though. ------------------------
It doesn't look that huge either (bigger than the *ist D though). alex
