Very pretty. It's probably just because I'm so used to seeing pancakes on MXen, but somehow it just doesn't look "right" on the *istD. I could probably get used to it if I tried, though <g>.
I only used one for a couple of weeks or a month on my MX, but I didn't have it at 2.8 very often. It was mostly at f22, so I could hyperfocus on the street. That made it essentially a focus free lens. I thought it was sharp enough that way, but as I keep saying, sharpness isn't such a huge thing for me, so I don't think I'm too discriminating in that regard,
Every time I see a *istD, I'm reminded that it's by far the prettiest DSLR on the market, by far.
