Sometimes I wonder if paying $1700 for a camera that can now be bought for less than that (*with* a $400 lens included) is proof of dumbness. (Especially, in my case, because the first time I'll use it for real will be a month from now when the race season starts). I expected a price drop - but not that much, or that fast. Oh well.
