Acetone is about the best glass cleaner around. But you must avoid touching the plastic or black paint around the front element.

Acetone won't affect the coating. Acetone is said to be the best glass cleaner in modern optic books. Here is one specific mention that acetone won't affect anti-reflection coatings:
Talking about their Schott glass, Jensen (distributor of Durst in North America) says:
"... to remove any tape residue later you can do so using de-natured alcohol, acetone or Methol-Etyl-Keatone (MEK). I will not damage the glass or the AR Coatong."
Acetone will leave less residue than rubbing alcool, but "polishing" after breathing on the lens will clear it.
