Preview. I have set the preferences "Folder at start" to "Last folder used" ( which contained 200+ RAW files and have had to kill the process in order to regain control of my system. The bloody thing has to read each and every file (to generate a thumbnail image on the fly) before you can navigate the files. Also if it is viewing a directory where files are being added it also gurgles and froths.
