Well, if you're used to Nikon, *everything* on the PZ-1p is backwards. You turn the wheels the other way (although at least they didn't swap the position of the shutter speed and aperture wheels), the aperture ring on the lens turns the other way, and you even twist the bayonet in the other direction to mount & unmount the lens.
