The ME Super can operate without batteries at 1/125, 1/2000 and B exposure settings, so it's worth considering over the Super A if you're heading off into the wilderness for a while. It's the camera I took on my last mountaineering expedition, and will probably take on any others I may do. It's also a few grams lighter than the Super A. ;-)
