I agree the birds kind of get lost against the trees. Too bad you couldn't 
have been closer and have them more against the snow.

I like it, though. Like the take off and there are nice layers in the 
picture:  water, snow, fence, birds, trees, sky.

Last year I took a photograph into my photography class, bunch of black birds 
taking off. Unfortunately, there was a bush right behind them. My teacher had 
no idea what it was a picture of, although it was clear to me (and to some of 
the others in the class, but not all).

Made me realize one has to be very careful with backgrounds for birds, 
otherwise they can easily get lost. 

Which, to my way of thinking, means that taking pictures of birds is pretty 
difficult.
